Try it, you would be the first. Just remember to do a good write up on it.

You have to be one hell of an enthusiast to take on such a task. What are you current mods?

They aren't worth putting in there. Get some normal red sparco's or recaro's.

Much cheaper and much lighter.

Why not re-wrap your seats red?

This was talked about before:

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ighlight=s2000

Seems most people agree that the seats are probably going to have fitment problems.

Check these out as well:

Since I currently own an S2000, I do have to say the seats are nice, but 90% of the time, if you're getting them used, they're stolen. They are also VERY heavy. Probably around ~40 lbs.

Personally I think the s2000 seats look cheap and the headrest is uncomfortable (there's a hole were your head is supposed to go). If I had a red fd I'd look for a set of M roadster seats. Perfect color, modern design, german leather, lots of support.

the m roadster seats look like they weigh 100 pounds each, plus that nice german leather spells out to me in lots of american dollars to get them.

Actually, I have an S2000 passenger seat sitting in my bedroom. If you want I can measure the dimensions of the rails and see if it would fit.

I don't know how anyone can say the S2000 seats look cheap if you've seen them in person. I've never known anyone to say something like that about anything Recaro. :P

And the way the headrest is, as with most racing seats, its set far enough back where if you're resting your head on it, you can't see. I never even have an urge to rest my head when I'm driving....

3 year bump here, Anyone ever do this? I'm asking because there are some red s2000 seats available locally, and for roughly the cost to recover my FD's seats.
