HAS ANYONE TRYED TO PUT RX8 SEATS IN A FD.THEY LOOK REAL SWEET,BUT WILL THEY FIT?

rx8 seats are nice! they have a rotor in the head rest!

not bolt in because fd seats dont fit in an fc so very doubtful RX8 seats are just going to plop in

Actually they are VERY cheap, I was suprised what you can get Used by new condition ones for.

I heard they fit, but no actual confirmation on that.....

 

How much are they 2nd hand or new mate?

And they dont tilt do they (?) so its going to be a bitch getting to your rear bins/seats

How much can you get a pair of black leather front RX-8 seats and shipped to NYC 11355.This is Manny from New York we have done business before.

 

I would like a set in my car as well but I wish they made black and blue ones. Im guessin its gonna have to be custom to get that done but oh well I want a set very very badly.

The RX-8 seats are comfortable and supportive. Even all-day trips are good.
The pass. side seat folds forward, slides, and reclines. The drivers seat is a power seat with recline, but it does not fold forward. Seat bottom is 21" width. There is a max. width that will fit in the 3rd gen, but I don't remember what it is.

I have the "Base" cloth seats in my 3rd gen, and the problem with them is the bolsters on the seat bottom are too high, with too narrow a width between them (or my *** is to fat . This makes them "2hr" seats.

 

So, you have base RX8 seat in your FD?? or base 7 seats?? if rx8 post some pics..

 

If you have rx-8 seats in your fd post some pics.I'm not the only nutcase that wants them in my car.Herblenny your car looks sweet with that front end on it.

I would really like to see the 8 seats in the 7.. seats are much nicer.. but I bet they weigh quite a bit.. usually the motorized seats are heavy..
Stock FD seats are paper weight compare to my Acura Legend seats..

 

Sorry, I have the RX-7 3rd gen base seats. I was basically complaining about the comfort (or lack thereof).
