rubber molding

i have a 1987 rx7 with rubber molding on the side. i want it gone and also the orange lights on the front of the car.

how is the rubber mouding attached and if removed how does it look with it off.

is there any kind of replacing moulding that might look better.

can someone help me find clear lights for the front of the car.

The rubber mouldings are attached to the doors via stips of tape, easily pulled off. The mouldings on the fenders on the other hand im not sure of, but since im getting a body kit to cover it all im just going to fiberglass it to the car and glass the doors flush. btw i have a 88 base
