rotary extreme apex-i style sideskirts fitment

What did your bodyshop use to mount you RE apex-i skirts? Also did you have any fitment issues with them? I have a pair and my bodyman had to cut the lip off the top of the skirts becuase the door wouldn't clear. He mounted them with 2 sided tape and used 1 screw and the top of each end. Im kinda unhappy with it though. Theres about 1/4 ich gap between the skirts and the car only on one side. I looks like ****, any ideas???
