rolling fenders

what kind of chance do you take rolling your fenders yourself. do you stand a chance of cracking the paint or it a minimal chance?
also does anybody know if and what type of places rent the tool to do it. i would hate to have to buy it to use once and i also don't want to pay a body shop to do it

thanks,mike

tire rack rents the tool, but i have heard there is quite a wait for it.

Give them a call, it can't hurt.
Too bad your not closer in NY, i need to do my fenders as well.

mike9164: To minimize paint cracking, you'll want to also have a heat gun handy, and hold it at the fender rim while you simultaneously use the roller.

A Fender Rolling wheel would be nice to have. You could charge to use it or rent it out with a deposit.
