Rock chipped hood =(

Hi so I was deciding between 3 options. The first being just leaving the hood as is(lots of rock chips like it got shot by a shotgun). The 2nd being buying oem paint from paint scratch and like sanding it down, priming it, painting it, and clear coating it. The last is to get a shop ( least prefered because short on money). What do you guys think i should do? Are there any other alternatives to fixing the rock chips?

Sandblast, sand, WETSAND (many people forget that important step), primer, repaint. going to be a lot cheaper DIY than any other option.

Whats the point of wetsanding metal? It will probably be cheaper for a shop to paint it if you don't have the equipment. Do you have a spray gun, compressor, filter, assorted sanding blocks, sand paper, and of course safety equipment for spraying?

Not really now lol. I would have to buy everything you just said lol. Definitely the saftey equipment. Last time my friend rattled I saw hella paint when he blew his noise. So would my best option be to get a shop? How much do hoods usually cost?

Start looking for a place that has a computer based color matching.
