sounds like you are going to need a brand new top.

I got rips on mine as well, a pair located on the sides and one at the back.

I have done some work to patch mine up for now until I have money for a new top.

so heres what a did:

materials:
vinyl wrap, roof sealant (http://www.rv-boondocking-the-good-l...s/100_1554.jpg)

1. measure your rip and the vinyl wrap
2. use the vinyl wrap to seal up the rip
3. apply roof sealant over the vinyl wrap and seal off the sides, the roof sealant is there to reinforce the vinyl wrap preventing it from ripping when you put the top down.
4. give it a couple weeks for the sealant to dry off then it should be nice and stretchy

p.s. it won't be the nicest thing ever but it'll do the job for the mean time. and some wet sealant might spread a lil abit as the top folds down.
