Reverse light tinting

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to which tint paint to use or which is the best to use to smoke the rear reverse lights for an FD3S. I just wanted to smoke the red reflector part and leave the white reverse lights as-is. Any thoughts? Recommendations? Thanks!

I saw those on Ebay...just wondering if they paint on with the gloss or does it come out dull? Will I need to put on another layer of the clear gloss with that stuff?
