I did use a regular home sewing machine but it's about 30 years old and has more power than the ones they sell today for home use. I was also using it right on the edge of it's abilities, so basically I wouldn't expect just any random home machine to be able to do it.

where did you get your supplies? i definitely need to look into doing this too. or maybe get my girl to do it for me i'm not so good with the sewing stuff!

im doing this to my T2 seats and adding a heat pad for heated leather TII seats goodness.
