Retracting seatbelts a proablem

in my 91 fc my seat belts that go across the chest dont work good the dont go back but go forward

in my 90 gtu the drivers side doesnt move at all but i can hear the belt motor running

thinking about taking all the stock seat belt stuff out ,belts,motors and getting aftermarket belts for a little less weight

im pretty sure mazda has a recal on them and if they dont work u bring them to the mazda and they fix them 4 free but not postiive

my friends are laughing at my passanger side seat belt....

so annoying....

luckily the driver's side works great ^_^

Because they are a safety item and there was a recall, Mazda is obligated to repair them for life. A few years ago my '91 drivers side belts stopped working. I found some recall info on the net and brought it with me. Fixed, no charge.
