Guys,

I am gonna get my car resprayed in the new year, but i wasnt sure what colour to go with. Its black at the moment, and completely original apart from rays alloys. I wanted to stay black (by far the best colour), but was thinking of going metalic. My alloys are gold with polished rim, so i wanted a metalic that matches/contrasts with that.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!! Should look good when done!!

 

i've always like a subtle purple or dark blue metallic hue. subtle so it doens't look like a low rider. something you only notice when in the light, yet gives off a deep condition.

 

Sounds good... dont suppose you got any photos?? Or a paint code? Or the actual name of the paint??

I went with midnight blue metallic - looks black at night, royal blue during diffuse light, but has blue-green and blue in the mix with clear, metallic and black.

My favorite dark color of all is BMW's carbon black. Its very dark blue, and looks black also.

In the sun, it sparkles blue, but in the shade it looks black. An extremely dark blue with a hint of purple.
