Smile Replacing seat leather

I have a 94 silver touring with a red leather interior which is starting to show its age. I want to replace what I have with new, stock, red leather surfaces. Anyone know where you can buy replacement leather surfaces for your seats? I would rather not go to a dealership and give up my first born to get them.

If you want "stock" leather surfaces, then you have no alternative to getting them from the dealer. I suppose you could find a used set in good shape -- right after hell freezes over.

Contact Mazdaformance, they are a dealer with a much smaller mark-up. You might be able to get your new covers for a small pet or something instead of your first born.

Salamander...

Both TTB and Rynberg have seen my seats in person. If you cant find anything from factory they are a good alternative. There are no downsides to going with leatherseats.com. The quality is first rate and they look VERY sweet. Everyone I have shown them to are very impressed, but they also know right away they are not factory seat covers. The only thing you may need to do is see if they have the exact color red. Thats the tricky thing.

You can try mazda recycling, but I doubt they have red.

hi there...

I spent an hour before posting pics and writing a good write up. I have 2 posts. Do a search on my screen name ZeroBanger and search term Leatherseats

You will find about 6 or 7 pics and description of what I did and my analysis.

If you have any questions, respond to that thread and I will help you out.
