replacing head unit

sorry for the simple question, but i searched and couldnt find an answer.
anyways i just bought a 93 rx7 thats come with an aftermarket headunit already installed. problem is i don't really like this headunit.
i was gonna swap the one i have from my fc into it, i was just wondering, do you have to take apart the dash like you do for the fc, or do you just pull on it and it'll slide out no problem.
simple problem i know, i'm just paranoid about breaking something.

for the fd you just slide it out with two u shape "keys" or the keys that were supplied with the aftermarket headunit. if you dont have them i found that slim scissors can work well too, you basically need to press down on the two points to release the unit.
