Replacing FD rear speakers

Hey guys, need some help or suggestions with this one. One of the rear speakers in the FD (non-bose) went out, so I decided to change it and get some decent ones in there. I got some Eclipses, heard lots of good things about them. I have followed Max's Cooper's DIY (www.maxcooper.com/rx7) on the install. I've done every thing and got to the speaker. This is the problem I can't take it off, I unscrewed the four screws and can't take it out. I did a search and it was mentioned that the speakers are glued onto the bracket, seems like it is, b/c I can't figure out how to get them off the bracket...any suggestions as to taking them out w/o doing any damage?

i would say hair dryer/heat gun. Or do what I did and use a screw driver and just pry it off. The first idea is prolly better than the second though.

When I replaced my speakers I pried off the old speakers with a flathead screwdriver. But here is a question… did most of you re-glue the new speaker onto the bracket or did you just screw it in? I hear a small rattle from the rear speakers every time I listen to a song with a lot of bass. I wonder if it’s from the bracket. I just wanted to check what other people did since I am going to replace the speakers again soon.

If all else fails, break out the crowbar.

i didnt use any glue and i don't hear any rattle. But then again i bought some really cheap speakers and don't turn the bass up too high either.
