Replacing Bose Snake w/ Sub

Ok, so if I tap off the audio lines at the connector that went to the rear amps, can I just connect them to the line level inputs of an aftermarket amp and hook up a new sub or do I need to convert the signals someway?

Thanks!

If you want to keep the Bose speakers up front and just have a sub in the back, you'll have to get the Scosche line level adapter and hook that up to an aftermarket head unit, THEN plug an external amp to the back of the head unit. A lot of work to keep 3 bose speakers if you ask me (I just spent a few bucks getting the majority of my Bose system back up and running so I'm not screaming BOSE BLOWS or anythings).

By the way, if you ditch the bose stuff, let me have dibs on your center channel bose amp. No one seems to be selling them.

Damn you have to go through all that trouble just to replace the bose tube with an aftermarket amp & woofer? My bose still sounds great. I just wanted to upgrade the amp and sub and not have to replace the head unit just yet. There has to be another way.

Unless you find an auxiliary connection on the back of the Bose headunit that no one else has found, it's looking pretty bleak.
