Replacement Seats for touring

I picked up my 94 R2 FD, drove it from NY to PA. After and hour and a half in, my right thigh was feeling it.

I would like to be able to drive this car long distances with comfort. What are my options?

Ditto, that's the price of having a R1, that and sunroof... You can get one put in but it's a little bit of a pain I think.

this could have been caused by driving with your wallet in your back pocket- ive done it (the wallet) and experienced the same thing.
Then i drove from sevenstock to frisco without my wallet for four hours straight (including 20 min gas stop) and i was perfectly comfortable.

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Wrong Answer, but thanks for playing.

I drove my Probe down from CT to TX in 3 days. A little bit of sore *** and aches, but not the leg cramping I mentioned with my FD. Yes, it has cruise control, but cramping after 1 1/2 hours? That's not a throttle issue, that is a seat issue.

BTW, I don't think any of them have mounting brackets that work for an FD. I believe with any aftermarket seat you'll need to do your own custom mounting.

Thanks, but its not the wallet. That is always in my front right pocket. Nothing in either *** pocket.

I'd swear I've been thinking about it. I look around and see there are a few people with more than 1 FD. I am still waiting my first (it is getting transported down as we speak from Philly), and I was thinking another would be nice. Find a high mileage touring with a good engine!

Thanks for the link, I'll check them out. What I need, though, is someone who has bought one, and can tell me it fits, and is fine for the long haul....

The problem with that is everyone has different tastes. I've driven quite a bit in my touring (owned it 4+ years) and have never had a problem with cramping or anything with the stock seats.

Eventually, I'm am going to replace them. Simply because it will cost me just as much to replace them as it will to have the leather repaired.
