Refurbished FD Ebrake Handle

Everyone,

Just a few pics of the work I did this weekend refurbishing my ebrake handle. It had gotten extremely dried out and worn to the point of looking completely gray. Applied several coats of Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner to get the dirt out and make the leather supple again before fininshing off with 2 or 3 applications of Doc Bailey's leather black. Here's the final result. Nearly good as new!!

^^Thanks David. Just wanted to throw this out to the community as an option to consider versus recovering with new leather. I love the stock leather fitment.

Just search Google for Cusco Ebrake button. Several outlets sell them.

Cool, thanks. The refinish looks good, but the button stands out. Hadn't seen one till yours.

Thanks Randall. Yea, I found that I needed to shave between and 1/8th and 1/4 inch off the end of the button to get to the height where I thought it looked best. You may want to modify yours as well if you decide to purchase.

Just an FYI!
