I have one, cost me $700 for the seat plus I had to have custom brackets to make it fit, the whole thing cost me $900

Yeah, the RECARO fit perfect in my FD. the shoulder width is perfect on the RECARO it doesn't hit the door at all. I have the Sparco Evos b4 and i just hated because of the fitment issues. I'm glad i got rid of it.

Which Recaros did you get, stevecod? I am always curious to hear about seats that fit well in the FD.

Thanks,
-Max

do they have a recaro that has the shoulder piece but allows u to lean or recline the vertical portion like a factory seat?

I really like a seat like the NSX.

stevecod, I have the same seat. What type of brackets/sliders are you using? Mine sits kinda high and I want to make it lower

not really. He make it himself. But Recaro does come with brackets. the bracket will fit FD or not, that's another story.

It looks like he's using the hole that's second from the top on the brackets- Steve, is there clearance below to mount them lower on the brackets?
