recaro Pole position SPG

I was wondering if anyone has come across a bolt on system for this seat in a FD? I have searched a while on this and come up with one person who has, yet didnt say what they used. I know Recaro said they had a rail that would bolt right up but ended up they didnt? anyone confirm this at all?

If you have made a custom bracket to fit would you mind sharing what you used?

Thank you for your time.

Jake

Yup Bride rails work, the low position FG I think but not sure, I am using them with the Recaro Profi which is the Carbon Kevlar version of the SPG....Look up my user name and you will see them.

Are you talking about the SPG or the Pole Position? those are two different seats. The Pole Position is wider at the base.

Does anyone know if the Pole Position (NOT SPG) works with the Bride FG rails?

Recaro does have a Pole Position SPG seat. I am looking right at it lol.

You are correct, but typically people refer to the Pole Position, or the SPG, two different seats. I think the correct full names are Pole Position SPG and Profi SPG, but somehow the "normal" name for the latter is just SPG.

Either way, I finally mounted my Pole Position in my FD. No adjustable rails will work with this seat, it's too wide. So I ended up buying a set of Atomic Rex rails. They look good and the seat fits in them with room to spare. Also, I was able to fit the seat so it does not hit the door at all.

While the seat rails from Atomic Rex are nice they really could have included some hardware. It was a pain in the *** finding grade 8 bots and nylock nuts to hold the rails together.
