RE Amemiya steering column gauge mount

so i just purchased an re-a boost gauge and mount. I have not yet tried it on my car, however it does not seem to fit the spare lower clamshell i have at my apartment.

Is there a difference between the LHD and RHD clamshells?

I have seen a number of LHD cars with this gauge mount so this comes as a rather big surprise that it doesn't fit. a couple of the tabs line up but about half of them do not and the cutouts for the wipers and turn signals are reversed (duh)

Yup, it doesn't fit. I have a couple RHD lower mounts that work well, but otherwise the LHD has issues as far as I recall.

Yes, you need to trim to fit.

how much for the RHD lower? I don't have a problem trimming the stalk holes to fit, but i'd prefer to have the tabs line up rather than cutting them off. if i get the RHD lower will the ignition lock line up and all i'll need to do is minor trimming for the reversed stalks?

thanks guys
