RE Amemiya Rear Fender Wide Trim

OK. My question is: Does anyone know if it is possible to put the wide trim on the car w/o having the RE sideskirts? And, would it look good? I really like the wide trim and can afford it, but those sideskirts are another $1000. Here's a pic:

to tell ya the truth im sure you could just use the flare without the sideskirt but i think it would look kinda stupid since it comes out but then just cuts off where the ss should be. it would look better if it blended back into the stock width but do whatever ya want

What I'm asking is if anyone actually knows if the flares just stop or if they blend to stock width.

I see

It is.

It's 25 mm (about 1 inch) wider than stock.
It's one side.

Thanks, inukai. You've been the most helpful person so far. 2 questions:

1) Is that your car?

2) How would it look without that side skirt? Probably pretty choppy. Right?

Thanks

Thank you CYMRXeven !!

It's not my car. My friend's one.
You can get just fender trim.
But it would look better with side skirts.

i think it would look good molded so it looks like it came that way more than you just sticking the trim on there.

I'm sorry but this specific white 7 is fugly. It looks like a Frankenstein car put together by some drunk minimum wage paid metal workers during their smoke break. Just my opinion.

To each his own. RE Amemiya definately has a "different" styling technique. Personally, I like it. There are a few things I would change about that particular car (ahem. . . gold rims), but I think it looks good. It's the cutting edge of Japanese styling. Check out the cover of the newest Super Street. Same Kit.

Inukai, TPC playa, anyone, do either of you have any pix of that RE fender, sideskirt, rear flare, on an FD? like all completed? The one in the white pic was mising the rear finisher on it.

I am thinking of getting those parts, and have it molded onto my FD, i just wanna see pix, if you guys have any.

Thanks,
Chris-
