Hey gang, i'm hoping someone on here can help me with my question. i was looking at the RE rear conversion that goes along with the porsche-style front conversion. the one with the two round taillight units. well anyway, i see that a US company has copied the rear conversion. you can see it at:

the only thing is that they only offer you the fiberglass rear conversion. no lights and they say they don't know what lights work with the package. i know its an RE kit and they might just make their own light units for this piece, but maybe i'm lucky and they are just lights off of another car. does anyone know if the taillight assemblies are from another car or are they made by RE for this kit?

I remember reading one of JimLab's posts that the tail lights used were from a non-USDM c5 Corvette. Dunno about the reverse....

 

Look up some ppl's feedback from importfan/GTP before you buy anything from them.

 

Before buying that kit..... Make sure you see some pictures of the side view. It looks good from the back but looks terrible from the side.

 

Just looks terrible in general. Why ruin your FD? Geeeesh...
