RE Amemiya Lamborghini Door Video
I took this video at the 2003 Tokyo Autosalon. The door is very tricked out. No wonder it cannot be made as a bolt on kit. There is a lot of welding, door and chassis modification done to the car. According to RE Amemiya, the conversion costs about $10000 to $12000! Enjoy the video.

Holy crap..that is badass...
But it'd be idiotic for normal daily driving..take an hour for you to get outta the car. :p
Hmm..they must have shared the schematics with the other peeps..because the Camo-painted FD (wtf?) has it too...
Whaddya do if your car battery dies?

very high cool factor but very impractical.
Cool but impractical...Hey! Come to think of it, it would be perfect for the FD3S
BTW, thanks for the video, Chuck.

It's just cool. I really have no idea what happens if the battery dies. Maybe you have to make sure it's fully charged all the time. If you can afford the $10,000+ conversion, maybe you should be able to afford to break your window if the battery dies. haha =P

Holy that is electrical too!!!!!
I have done abit of research on the swing up doors a few years ago but it really involves alot of work, and that is opening and closing the door by hand. It is electrical!!! OMG what will the Japanese think of next?
