i was browsing the RE Amemiya site and noticed some of their cars had fully automatic gullwing door (lambo) that came straight up instead of out and up i have been trying to find out more info on this kit and was wondering if anybody has seen it or is using it

if you notice in this picture the rear striker for the door has been removed and the new unit installed



if anybody has any info on this kit please let me know, im sure its not cheap but im interested and im tried of the cheap lambo doors that swing out and up and sway side to side while open

 

My understanding is that you have to send them the car to do it and it costs $10,000. However, that information was from about 6 years ago, I do not know if they still offer the service or what. Lambo doors are over-rated and useless.
