Racing Beat Type II Wing

Hey guys, I recently bought a Racing Beat Type II wing from the classifieds section and I have no idea how to take off the center blade! Here is the pic of the wing: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...42454626ZXuNFF

I want to get it repainted in separate pieces so the paint doesn't crack later if there is movement between the blade and the sides of the wing. I have seen pictures of other RB and Mazdaspeed wings that have that oval outline part but this wing doesn't, so how do I take it apart or even adjust it?

The RB wing is not adjustable like the MS and '99 Spec wing.

like Mahjik said, its not adjustable. Why would you be worried about the paint? Just paint it and call it a day.

The blade is a separate piece from the wing sides. If you paint over the seam it is definitely going to crack. Automotive paint is too thick for it to just conform to each piece. For things like this you have to separate them. The Racing Beat instructions emphasizes this.

The problem with that is my wing doesn't have the torx screws on the sides of the wing. The only explanation I can think of is that either my wing is not from RB or the previous owner filled in the sides. I am guessing it is the latter. I guess I need to bring out the sandblaster for the answer...

Interlude, I also have a RB Wing and mine is also filled with bondo. But before it was filled their were screws if you wanted to remove the center section.
