Question for anyone with headlight kits!

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a rotary extreme headlight conversion kit for my FD. I took it to a specialty/customization shop, and they claimed that it took 10 hours to complete, which cost me 800 dollars. Two questions: Did I get ripped off? How long did it take you to get yours done?

The more responses, the better!
Thank you, Wolf50000

you got ripppped off dude, it took me about 2 hours total,

i assembled the hella lights to the brackets, cut the headlight support with a cut off wheel, soldered the the hella plugs to the factory headlight wires, mounted and aimed the lights, installed the pods and plexiglass covers.

there is a full write up on chucks website. 10 hrs is total bullshit, even if they included prep and paint work.

10 hours!! They could almost fabricate one for that. I would want some proof that it took that long, or make sure they didn't have some high school kid working on it getting paid min. wage. and just drooling on it for 10hrs.

That sucks man, I'd confront them on their time and tell them that you don't like paying for a bunch of idiots sitting on their ***!
On a side note, how do they illuminate? Are they better than stock (appearances don't count)
