so did you or did you not buy a harness? I would run new wires for the new speakers. I don't know if your model car has amplifiers anywhere or not, so this will bypass any of that to start with. Hook these up to the appropriate wires from your new head unit. gray and white wires are front speakers...purple and green are your rears. Other than that, all you need is ACC power, constant power, and ground. If you have a power Antenna you'll have to wire that in as well. Anyway, ground the black wire on your head unit to chassis. If you bought a harness...which is what I would recommend...plug it in to the factory plugs that match the new harness. The yellow wire on the new harness is your constant power...hook this to the yellow wire coming from your new deck...The red wire coming from the new harness goes to the red wire coming from the new deck. If you didn't buy a harness and you are planning to hack up your factory harnesses....then take a meter and start probing some wires....turn the car off, and probe the wire until you find one with 12v...this should be your constant power source...tap this wire with the yellow wire from your deck....then turn the ignition to ACC or to On, and probe the wires again. You should find a wire that has 12v in both the ACC position and in the On position, but has 0 voltage with the car off....this is your ACC power source....tap the red wire from your deck into that wire.

I have an 88 vert, it only has speakers in the front, both doors and in dash.
List of wires I have
1-RED
5-Blue, one is the Blue wires is a larger gauge.
2-Brown
1-whiteish

NOW can anyone tell me HOW to hook this up, wire to wire without haveing to spend any more cash on a harness?? cause with every other ******* car made as long as i know whats what, i dont need a harness...

I found the nice big METRA dash install kit.. drove 45 mins to pick it up, im not going back to get a harness..
PLEASE ANYONE!?

My FACTORY UNIT CAME OUT OF A `1988 vert, Pioneer head unit factory, tape deck and radio unit, this damn thing is HUGE like the size of a half gallon of Ice cream!..
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP CAUSE HOW HARD CAN THIS **** BE?
Im not just going to sit there and play "find the wire" all day... dont have the time..

Unit im putting back in is a pioneer... but CD player... of course..

I told you how to do it...as far as speakers...make yourself a speaker popper (a battery with a wire on each end) Anyway, sounds like you got it going...have fun
