Proper Aftermarket Stereo installation into FD questions

Alright so i bought an FD finally. The Bose system has been ripped out and theres a panasonic CD deck sitting in the dash, not secured it'll pull right out, its also disconnected which is weird but whatever. I've installed stereo's in FC's without trouble but they make adapters for that. From what i gather there are no kits for the FD or wiring info either. I'm running all new monster cable for the speakers, I'm going to dynamat the door panels and possibly add the sub, all my questions lie with the headunit and securing it in the dash. Are the power and accessories wires the same? red and yellow? blah need clarity i did search.

Mine had an older Clarion deck when I got it and there was a harness adapter in there, so they are out there. To secure the unit you just have to use that metal sleeve, as long as it's the type that will snap into place on the unit. Put the sleeve in and bend the tabs to keep it in place and then slide the unit into it until it grabs the sleeve. Hopefully that will work for you.

I think I found a harness set for you http://www.installer.com/item/displa...php?it=70-7901. It's been a couple of weeks since I installed mine but these sure look like the right ones.
