Problem with stock BOSE cd player

I recently purchased my 93 rx7 with 43k miles and it had the premium bose system. The radio works fine, but the cd player does not. If you put a cd in it puts it back out, and no their is not a cd already in their. I really do not have the money to buy an aftemarket deck so if anyone knows something I could do thanks.

Try getting a lens cleaning cd. It might work, but most likely you will have to get a new deck.

Mine does the same thing. You're pretty much screwed and will have to buy an aftermarket radio. Stock cd players sell for more than $50 bux on the forums and ebay.

Ya, that happens to all the Bose CD Decks. Mine did that same thing. About 1 out of 15 times it would play. We all know the FD doesn't ride like a Caddy, but Bose never took that into consideration when they made that deck with 0 skip protection.

Two choices:

1. Buy a new head unit

2. http://carstereohelp.com/mazda.htm
