problem with aftermarket hood

It's got gaps because its hitting the fan shroud from what I can tell.

anyone have a fix or idea how to fix this??

I am wayyyyy too lazy to swap hoods back.

it latches... stays... but the gap kills me.

Check the bump stops. Move the latch down?

Ahh, for some reason I read that as its *not* hitting the fan shroud...

Looks like you don't need much. Maybe a heat gun to heat the shroud up and re-form it? Make sure it doesn't hit the fan though. You could also try cutting away the offending areas, but with the stock rad you may have overheating problems if you cut away too much. Or find out where it's hitting on the hood and cut away some material there.

Remount the shroud.
It should be able to lower about an inch or so,before you hit the Sway bar.
You may want to consider trying to lower the whole fan and rad assembly.make the holes on teh rad mount a little higher, and that will bring your fan and rad down.
..
I went through this on my FG hood install.but I ended up just taking a piece out of the hood,as it needed only a half inch at the Opening of the hood's vent.
