I don't think my hood and fender has a problem.
you miss the fitment???
i wanna see some pics of your hood latch, headlight mounting, and generally, the whole front end of the car where everything mounts. i'm not saying the other bumper is correct or not--haven't seen it up close.
there's a reason the companies recommend professional installation on body parts.

I just want you guys to think one more time before buying replica n1 bumper..
that's it.
If you would cut down the rubber stops on the hood, it will drop it to be even with the front bumper. And all you will have to do is adjust the lights to sit lower. I think that you were just lazy with your install job.

You might want to check with your panel beater if your car had been in an accident before done by the previous owner.
Not to accuse, but I'm assuming this because it happened to my car too. When mine was fitted with a knightsports front bumper, there was a minimum ammount of gap. But when I tried to fit my Vertex front bar, it fits like crap!
Turned out that my car had been in a front-impact accident that it needs to be rectified in order for the Vertex to fit. I could also see the crack and dent near the headlights area where the impact took the hit.
As for genuine/replicas. It comes down to personal view and taste. But I must admit, not all genuine parts (exterior parts from Japan especially) fits 100%. Some still need to be modified for it to fit on a "accidentless" vehicle.

Question, the bumper height is off but it fits better around the top of the fender vs. the aftermarket headlights/hood?
I'm not saying you can get that bumper to fit "perfectly" but I will say this. I don't think you really took the time to do things right. That includes taking the time to address the issues with the angled hood and the headlights.
Since you have hoodpins, was the factory hood latch being used at all with the Veilside bumper and is it still on the car?
Guys, most seem to be forgetting he did have an aftermarket front end on before this, NOT an OEM bumper. So take that as you will as well. Unfortunately, given that the overall install of the aesthetics on the front of this car are not inline, it makes it difficult to identify which individual piece(s) if any, as being most at fault.

It's RE headlights. oh I didn't mention the headlight was not into the right place.
I can't say which is better.. top of the fender looks not bad in the picture though.....all those are so bad as I expected in reality.

without plastic cover
yes, hood latch is still on the car. same position as the veilside pic.
the height is too low. also, the front bracket needs to be fixed. the bracket is not even close to the chassis. (hope pre-auto.com will do something for future customers after this thread. or show a detail picture of air dam like shineautoproject..)

its sad when people have nice cars and they screw them up. it looks like someone didnt know how to drive and had to put the other bumper on b/c the wrecked their car and thats why everything looks bad.
yeah ya'll are right. that is one of our parts that fits awesome. we had a problem with one of our hood molds, but everyone ive sold the n1 to loved it. the pics speak for themselves. Trav, how the heck are ya?

I noticed the front bumper lining up perfect with the fenders, but in the first pic he posted, it looks like the hood is in line with the fender height on the top part...IE the hood is even with the fenders.
So does that mean the front of the hood is not shaped right to bend down further to the front bumper or is the front bumper sagging in the middle? Would pulling down the latch cause the hood to bow/flex, ruining the line with the fenders?
Tim
If you look at his pics with the veilside bumper in page 3, it shows that the hood lines up with the other bumper fine... Not perfect but it lines up better than what he has now. That's unless of course, it's a different hood than in the other pic
