Question Power windows...no worky worky

Hey y'all. Need a little advise please. Female and ambitious, I decided to self-install my new sub'ferrs (2 10's), amp (cabin & sub), door speakrs, and tweeters (dash corners). I mapped my wiring and cleantucked all my lines.
I finally vaccuumed out the floor, lit a cig and reconnected my battery with crossed fingers.

Omg, e v e r y t h i n g worked!
And after some tuning, sounds fantastic.
The bass is deep, the highs crisp, and thanks to my Pioneer 6800mp, everything in between... solid compression.

Anyway, now my windows dont work.

No up, no down no nada. I put a test lead on the switch as if i knew what i was looking for and the red light doesn't indicate, anything. $3.95 at walmart i'm not sure it even works.

Currently, the windows are stuck down in the door and I just want to put them up until i can afford that ridiculously expensive switch off of Ebay.

I live in the desert, so my top is always dropped anyway, but i keep my windows up to eliminate wind resistance and, u know...eating bugs n stuff.

I have a portable Black n Decker battery jumper, test leads, roach clips and rubber gloves. I know I can put the windows up with this stuff but i dunno how to do it.
Anyone, anyone? Please and thank you in advance.

Oh, and Pardon the pride.

When I got mine, the windows didnt work. The guy i bought it from didnt know why either. So I took apart the switches only to find that the plastic mounting the copper? pins were busted. so once in a blue moon I would get movement from my window switches, more blown fuses than anything. So first, check your fuzes, then your wiring (pretty basic) and then take apart your switches and check them out, they may just be dirty (living in the desert and all). Let me know how it goes.
