Power FC Commander Holder

Can Anyone verify if the power fc commander holder sold on www.rx7.com will work in a 94 FD? Im wondering because of the airbag if there will be any difference? I tried emailing them with no response. Thanks in advance!

It should fit without any problems. I have one on my 93 FD and i the screws are inside the glove box. Airbag shouldn't make a difference.

No I read somewhere that they don't work on 94s. Until you get something definitive, don't buy. If I were you, I would buy a universal GPS holder that attaches to the vent. Its freaking awesome and its only $20 - $30. I got mine from target.

It will not fit, I had to modify mine to fit in the cigarette lighter, you can still use it but you will be able to see the bar and it will look tacky, the reason why it won't work is because the glove boxes are different on the 94's it does not have the space on the side where the bar tucks in...

Thanks for the input.

I dont want to use the GPS holder on the vent because my boost controller is mounted on my dash and i think it might block it.

I am curious however on how to make it work with the cigarette lighter.

I use a cell phone holder that plugs into the cigarette lighter.

Interesting... I too have a 94 and will be using a PFC soon.

I thought I saw a thread where a user made a nice holder in the arm rest that replaced the ashtray.

Can anyone post pics of the GPS & cell phone holders? I would like to see how clean it looks...

Thanks all

It works, but it's kind of ghetto, gets in the way, and doesn't hold up well when turning..It came with the car when I bought it last year though, so I couldn't complain too much...it was SOMETHING..

I ended up just using velcro to stick it to my dash. Works fine for me. Although I would prefer an "authentic" PFC holder..

yeah, this is a street driven car but will see the track at least once a week so i need something that will hold up through harsh cornering/braking.
