POR-15 the entire interior???

Alright. My FC is all gutted out right now. The cage is in, and everything.
No seats, no dash, NOTHING. Just the cage and thats in.
I was wondering if maybe I should just POR-15 the entire thing on the inside. Rather then paint it.The car will never have a full interior. Just the dash, 2 racing seats, and sheet metal on the doors.
I've never put POR=15 down before. So I dont really know how to prep the metal. If I need to sand all the old white paint down to bare metal, or If I just need to clean it first. If I need to take the paint off, I was thinking about just using Peel Away and a wire brush.
I need a few opinions here!

leave the old paint and scuff it with sand paper, or a red scotchbrite pad.

POR 15 does not resist UV light. That is, it will turn flat black and then flake away quite easily if your interior ever see sunlight, which it probably will.

I did it to my engine bay and it did that, your interior will go to **** faster. I suggest good old fashioned spray paint for car body.

I POR-15 the underside of my car, its a PITA with paint brushes.

Anyway, the moral of the story, is that on the fender area I used a top layer of rustoleam paint because its more UV resistant and so far so good.

Of course, if you don't care that much about your interior, any old paint will do if you are starting with a rust free surface.

por15 is ok you will have to use a clear or it will fade quick. There is some other company that makes something like por15 but better cheaper and they also sell a clear coat too that will not chip or flake off very heavy duty and wont turn yellow too like cheap clear does. look around online or pm me and i will look around.
