I'm still kinda undecided...but I really do like the way the CWEST headlight kit looks...

It really gives it a GT Spec look...

Still undecided too! From what I've read, most of the sleek light kits have their problems because some of them are really fog lights, therefore they have fog light dispersion. http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/lights/index.html
Granted they look really nice but you also have to cut part of the frame to install.
The ones from http://www.rotaryextreme.com/sleeklight.html look pretty good and you can get the HID option which is really what I want. Price isn't too bad with HID. Does anyone actually have this one?

Ya over at nopistons someone told me that certain sleek hide light kits are going to be illegal. It had to do with the lights not just aiming in front of you on the road like they should they go more wide which shines
light into oncoming traffic.Me personally I like the low rise pop ups, plus the seven came with pop ups so its more OG.

I concur.

Anyway, IMO the pop-ups look a lot better during the day (when they're off) than any sleek headlight kit.

That would be cool if the light cover retracted to reveal re amemiya sleek headlights at night. I like the clean look of pop ups (not up during the day) and at night when its popped up it doesnt look as nice..somebody make that kit

Yes it is for me to like cuz I at least have an FD and are able to PM people

BTW tough decision between pop ups and sleek lights. I always go back and forth on what looks better.

Sleepy eyes are #1 - best of both worlds. Great sleek look during the day, and a nice low-profile at night.

yeah...sleepy eyes. That's what I was saying. Knightsports makes a great kit, and it is available in HID, too.

JT-imports sells those kits, but their site is under construction right now. You'd just have to email them for pics and prices, or search under "knightsports" or "sleepy eyes"

Uh... well... No...
HID needs a projection lens system and there is no room for one in the KS Headlight kit... The whole reason why you have to saw a bit away on the RE headlight kit is to accomodate the extra length of the Projection system and the fact that they need to be flush with the lens cover that is the cover for the popups.. as not to create a bubble like the catz ones do...

So KS and HID = BS or you're getting a HID bulb and amp and wire harness that carries 1000's of volts across a wire that gets stressed (Could Break) everytine you raise or lower the system.... can you say OUCH ! Even if you do, you're missing the Lens System due to no room for it...

I'm not here to convice anybody of not buying KS HID kit, just want you to know the drawbacks of that system...
I was all sold on the KS when I started talking to a friend that does HID systems for all kinds of imports and I showed him what I wanted to do and he cautioned me to the above tune...

I Didn't say they didn't.
I said they're a waste of time and potentially hazardous... But since most of us don't drive in Rain or much past sunset, I guess it doesn't matter... Get what you like on the car, since that's what matters....

I have found that the Flush mount and the scoot hood make the 7 look more like a high performance sports car than anything else out there and that's what I'm going for...

On Another topic, what kind of Foglites do you guys like !?
Seen anything unusual that looks great and doesn't rob the radiator of too much air !?

Maybe I should start another topic...
