Cool polishing the throttle body question.

Was wondering if I should take the throttle body apart before polishing it or should I try to polish it with all the springs on it..

But if I had too, I would take everything off, keep it organized and polish it all.

I left everything on. For me, it didn't make much of a difference whether the parts that can't be seen get polished or not. As you can tell from the pic, it came out pretty well.

Thats got a long way to go in my book.
I seriously recomendn against taking apart the TB to polish.
It will be a serious PITA to make it all go back together properly.

Well, this one is meant to go on my car, so I didn't care too much about how it turned out. I mean, it's not "bling king" quality i admit, but this was my first tb (1st i've seen off the car, actually) so it was more of a learning experience than anything else.

In due time....

Send them to Garfinkle, he takes them apart then his son polishes them, Gar then reassembles them . If you want the water nipples removed with the hot wax rod and cam, he will do that . Call 615-893-4469
