headlight bulbs

I just replaced my stock headlight bulbs with a set of GE super blue 9003SB bulbs from Wal-Mart for 17.00. They are a lot brighter, and they are a lot clearer light ( almost blue go figure). I think they are a good buy if anyone wants to get rid of the poor lights we have.

yeah, but put down more $ and get rid of the bluish tint and go super white.

has anybody had these MTEC bulbs for a long period. they pull more watts, around 100, and i know our stock wiring (fd) is rated for 55/60 watts. i want to know if the stock wiring will sooner burn out by pulling all the extra power all the time.

My mechanics 94 has 100 watt high beams in the stock housing, for several years . He uses them on one of his motorcycles also .
