I have a 1988 non turbo RX-7 GXL. I am having trouble with the lights up by the sunroof, when i turn on of them on, it turn the clock on the instument panel on. None of the lights work, and the clock only works some of the time... The idiot lights seem to work fine though.
Also, one day my cd player went dead. I found out that the memory wire did not have 12 volts, and that is why my cd player wasn't turning on. BUT, (sigh...) when I hooked everything up the speakers would not play. i even tried another deck that I new worked and still had no sound. Any ideas on why all this stuff is happening? I would hate to tear apart the dash if it is something simple.
