Pictures wanted Please
I am trying to find pictures of any 3rd gen 7 with a wing / spoiler mounted as close to this one as possible - So many choices but it's hard to visualize how the car would look with one. Thanx

I agree that there ARE better looking, like Rotora's wing or the Mazdaspeed wing but I don't want to spend $900 for a wing when I don't race!! As for guy looking, I need to see it first - but might look a lot like the one in 2F2F RX7.

For the same reason that most people in here do, to make the car more reliable, and because knowing that you have a quick car is almost as fun. But I do plan to join a club or something and take it down to the track to have fun with the car - I just don't want to do it head to head or on the streets. Style, function, and cost are all considerations.

I've got almost the same wing on my car. Trust me it's not the best wing for the FD. I didn't buy it, the car came from Japan as it is and i am looking to change that wing.

It's not THAT bad guys though. It's not like those huge GT wings but it doesn't worth the money.
99 spec wing rules!

Are there fiberglass versions of the wing? I know this sounds dumb, but what if the wing was painted vr and was roof level... think that would look dumb? b/c i want black wheels and a roof-level spoiler w/ a red middle and black edges would look hot

Thanx for the pics Racer1 - I think your car looks GREAT! and whether the wing is really functional it looks good. I don't think most wings are really functional anyway. Most the factory wings are just for looks and even though it's a matter of opinion I just like to see what others think because once I drill some holes - well, there you go! As for the roof level wing - it makes me think of those old chargers with the really high wings at six feet tall or something. This web site has a lot of styles and some are painted fiberglass but look really good.

jdhuegel1 - the wing isn't going to make the car more reliable, I was talking about spending $$ for any sort of upgrade when I don't plan to race. Wings are mostly style, like wheels, new bumpers, lights, body kits, and just like everyone else, to make the car unique. You took it out of context.

JSP, V-Racing, APR, R1 are just a few companies where you can find a lot of different wings. BUt make sure you like it if your going to drill holes into your hatch... You can even search ebay...
