Those were an option on r1's back in the day.... Every now and then you can find someone selling one for ~$100 - 150. They come as tinted dark plastic, which MS FD3S painted.

Quite possibly the ugliest Mazda OEM option you can buy for an FD.

 

Mazdaspeed Fd3s . . . where did you get the covers for the 99'spec lights on that Mazdaspeed bumper? It looks like a knockoff because it doesn't have that intercooler vent above the main opening.

I like your car except for the wide body. It's your car though and you obviously put alot of work into it so if you're happy i'm happy. Nice work.

 

Is the paint the Veilside silver?

 

i saw your car in person last weekend in AC. looked good with the body molded. wing looked good too.

 

The kit is all original.The bumper was smacked in by someone backing into me so my body shop just fixed it by shaving the little opening .The 99 turn signal covers came with the bumper.Those of you who know my car know that it had this kit on for 3 years now.The only thing that has changed is the rotary extreme scoot hood and the rear wing.The color is the same as the Veilside FD.The rear window visor was a option when I bought my car new from the dealer 12 years a go.Prew Did I talk to you?

Cool, sorry i thought it was a knock off. I want a MS bumper with the 99 spec covers but it's way to expensive for me. I'm just trying to find the GTC 99 spec covers so that's why i asked. Again, nice car.

 

no i didnt get to talk to you. i only did one walk around of the place. i met scrub cause i recognized his car. i didnt recognize yours, i think i've seen it before maybe i didnt realize cause of the new mods.

btw what is glosser?... seemed to be all over so many cars there.

Never been a fan of the mazdaspeed widebody bits - makes the car look like a transformer. But, as long as you like the car, who cares.

I personally think the type II wing (that goes with the kit) would have looked far better

It's up there - but not in the same league as either the early option red trispoke rims, or the optional drivers' slippers.

 

Nice car...Awesome color.....The 99spec wing is beautiful and the kit is really nice, but the wing doesn't go with the kit very well...It would look a lot better with a GT wing like the C-West GT WING IMO.....overall, nice car...
