Looking at how the FD shift boot is setup around the plastic, I think your best bet would be a U-shaped chrome piece that could be attached around the plastic and then the boot attached. As long as the part that shows is smooth, it should look good

Looks nice. Do you have a CD player? I ask because with the gauges on the top DIN, it's difficult to put CD's in. Great job though!

scary but I was thinking the same thing since I used to have my CD player on the bottom panel and switched to the top for that very reason.

I really like the idea of gauges where the CDplayer was...I was just thinking about that space yesterday, especially since I'm using MP3 for all of my audio.
The ashtray replacement is brilliant.
Any worries about spills or moisture?

Did you run into any issues with the climate controls bottoming out? I made one of those panels once and sold it on ebay instead of using it on my car so I never got to see how the clearances were. Any pix of the underside tp share?
Off topic I have the same head unit and the panels all look really good. Nicely done.

I am thinking of putting in the S2000 starter button and was wondering,
does the button or lettering light up at night?

Looks incredible and I love the s2000 starter setup how did you mold that stuff in and how did you get rid of the cruise and light pop up switch. Looks great wanna do that as well but I wanna lay it in carbonfiber or paint it just like yours to match my exterior which is black. Let me know if that is something that i can do.

carbon is too "busy" for my eyes, especially in the interior

i just wanted something simple and 'elegant'

the buttons were molded out with fiberglass, PM me if you're interested in getting it done

Looks awesome. A little bit too shiny for my taste, but the orientation of everything looks great. That starter button gets cooler every time I see it. Nice work
