painting car and have questions
well my paint got all screwed up in a minor accident. i wont go into detail into that but the body is still straight. im tired of the old redish look that the paint now has. i figure if i am going to take the time to repaint it why not the color i want. what i need to know is how to get the dash out and etc and what needs to come out to give me a superb look. i dont want it to look like a honda paint job, i want it to look like it came from the factory. for those of you who did it yourself, or can lend a knowledgable hand please do so. my uncle owns a body shop and all i will really need to pay for is supplies. labor is free as i will be doing most and i will give up my free time to help him in other tasks. gotta love the barter system.

Ask your uncle, I'm sure he knows what needs to be removed. If you want the best job your going to have to strip it down to nothing. If you want a good job you'll want to take the door panels off, part of the head liner, and everything in the engine bay. If you want a Honda job put tape over what you don't want painted and spray away!
