So I've been debating getting my fc rims like painted or chromed, and I was curious if anyone else had there FC rims painted or anything else! Pics appreciated.

Have you tried to google it? I just found a few pics by searching. Stock looks clean. Ever thought of powder coating or port polishing?

Aren't the center caps plastic? If they are, good luck polishing them haha.

The center caps on my '86 NA are metal.
Looking for the "original" look, I stripped my wheels with Aircraft paint remover, primed with self-etching primer, lightly sanded and finished with Dupli-color silver Wheel Coating and several coats of their clear.
For a little variation, I stripped and painted the centers body color (A1) gold and filled the logo with matte black.
They came out nicely.

As promised.
The after result looks better than the pic.
If you hit the back of the wheel center with a screw driver handle, they will pop right out.
