paint for interior

what kind of paint should I use to paint the trim pieces inside. It might be as simple an answer as "vinyl paint" or something, but I haven't looked into it at all and was wondering what I should look for (brands, etc) before I head out and listen to a Pep Boys salesman Thanks

Hey dude!..Im also doing the same thing. I bought a can of black Plati-cote vinyl paint and tried it on my spare shift boot cover. I let it dry for about 20 minutes and rub test it. Its pretty good!!!..It doesnt peel off or rub off. The only problem is that i didnt find a matte black or flat black. I bought the gloss one. After its sprayed its not really that glossy. I might use them still. I dont mind the extra glossy dash.

cool man... got any pics of what you're starting with and what's done yet? I'd be interested to see how it turns out, and I need some ideas on what to do with mine. Thanks for the info

I will take a picture once i get started once the weather gets warm a bit. I dont live in a snow or anything but i want to do it when the weather is nice and warm. I guess it gives you better result that way. So far i think it will work fine. Do a search because there is a thread about the same subject. People told me to use plasti-cote.
