paint chip problem

I have a paint chip on the front bumper of my FD. Its about 1'x1' its perty small. How much do you think a body shop will charge to repaint it? My car is silver. Do you have to repaint the whole front bumper? Any cheap suggestions?

repaint the whole bumper? not at all. They will most likely wet-sand her, spray some primer and then paint. Make sure they "MATCH"!!!!!! the paint and not get the paint code, if they match it then it will not be noticeable. It should cost you in the 200+ range, any more is a rip-off.

What year is your FD? If it's a '93, the paint chipping is a known problem, and it will get worse on other parts of your car. If it is a '93, you may as well get ready to repaint the entire car.

I'll be getting mine repainted next year after I get all the other body parts I'm going to add.
