kinda torn, I see some lips painted to match the colour of the car and it just looks so clean blending in. but then again i see it black and it just accents everything other little piece of black there is on the car .. oh what to do what to do..?

 

leave it black and tell your old lady to shave your moustache.

 

i prefer not painted. as you said it accent the other black parts and on certain colors like red it really looks good to me.

what color is your car? it looks different with certain colors.

my car's red.. i was thinking about down the road powder coating the stockers black, so then in that case i would want the lip to be black, but still, torn..

I have mine painted red..however its not on the car yet rather in a boat somewhere in the Pacific. I like them painted.

I think that on black FDs it looks good painted but on a red one I would leave it unpainted.

I wouldnt paint it. The first time you scrape, the paint is going to crack and look like ****.

I have a buncha pics of different colored FD's, who painted their 99 front lip.

Anyone have a particular request on a color?

For me, I'm wanting my FD to look just like this, minus the rims..

 

I would leave it unpainted. The car just looks off if you paint it. The black gives the entire front end some contrast and also pulls more attention.

If you did paint it, I would get it sprayed with some Rhino-liner. It would strengthen it and keep it from getting too messed up when you bottom out the front.
