One last audio question... please help me decide?

This is the last decision I have to make with this install, and have just decided to limit my choices to the speakers sold by my installer. I have demoed and demoed but just can't decide which sounds best to me since my demos for these speakers have been at different shops from soundboards all using different gear.

Here is the rest of the gear I'll be using with these speakers. This listing is already purchased and cannot be changed.
- The car is 93 Touring with removed Bose system.
- Rockford Fosgate RFX-8250 CD/Tuner/Preamp
- RioCar Mk IIA 60Gb Music Server
- Rockford Fosgate OEQ-2 Parametric EQs (one for L/R and one for Sub)
- Balanced Symbilink type (6 pin mini-din) Balanced Interconnects
- ESX Q1204 Amplifier (Used as 2 X 120w into 4 ohms(L/R); Plus 1 X 240w into 8 ohms(sub))
- JL Audio 8w3v2 subwoofer in sealed .35cf box

That's it... so which speaker choice should I get and why?

Thanks so much for all your help over these months of indecision on my part!!!

Take Care,
merc

You're not going to get a helpful answer here -- all four are likely fine speakers, although I haven't heard the Alpine or JL.

Speaker selection is such a personal thing, it really needs to be your decision. I really like both the Boston Acoustics and MB Quarts, although either can sound a hair bright. If it's to the point where you can't pick between them, then just get the set that fits into the car and your system best, and costs the least.

They'll probably sound completely different in-car compared to being on a soundboard, anyway.

Sorry to confuse you any further.
