This is my setup yesterday:
Kenwood KRC-PS905 CD Receiver
Kenwood KGC-6042 9 Band Parametric Equalizer with Sub Control
Kenwood KAC-9020 2 Channel 300W Amp (sub)
Kenwood KAC-9040 4 Channel Front/Rear
Kenwood KAC-5020 2 Channel Center/Front

Speakers are varied. I pay more attention to the quailty of amps.
Center: Pioneer Dome Center Channel 100W max
Front: Audiobahn 4" (i beleive)
Rear: Pioneer TSX-200 Surface Mount Speaker 200W max
Rear: Audiobahn 6.5" Triaxial
Sub: 2 12" Kicker in ported box (yeah i know it sux)

Here is what I did. I wanted to play some of my mp3s I had stored in my computer but at the same time I did not want to buy another CD player because I love the PS905. The 905 keeps the Orange theme of the rest of the car's interior and so does the kenwood EQ. Plus I did not want to fabricate any more DIN/RCA connectors. I looked into some of the CD Changers and finally I found a Kenwood without an RF modulator. Saved up some cash for the KDC-CX89. I got it in tonight. After work, in the light rain at 11:30pm, (yes I am freaking crazy) I mounted and installed it properly. I did not yet turn the radio on. I waited till I was cruising and popped some mp3 cds I had laying around in it.

OMFG!!!
This setup makes it UNFREAKING BELEIVABLE. My car sounds outstanding. I know that now I will prolly refrain from driving my car fast because I will be listening to this. Man it sounds beautifull.

I recommend Kenwood to everyone. I like doing mine completely kenwood. Most of the units I used are 10+ years old. The Kenwood amps are pretty old but they certainly do their job well.

I have a new toy!!!
