OEM sideskirts

does anyone one have pictures of an FD with OEM sideskirts? i was looking on jt-imports.com and found them... i think they look nice, but the picture leaves alot to the imagination. i'm putting together my shopping list so i can make sure i have all the bases covered... wanna stay with the stock look, well, ok, alomst... i have a base model (i think) and i want to get all the R1 goodies... anyways, sorry got sidetracked, if anyone has a few pictures that could help sway my opinion one way or the other, i'd REALLY appreciate it.

Why hasn't Chuck at rotary extreme copied these yet? I so think those are the nicest sideskirts available for the FD.

Also, the Apexi skirts pictured above are very similar at a much cheaper price than the OEM's.

Yep, that's RTS3GEN's car. I think it took him about 3-4 months to get his Apexi skirts.

Chuck said the RE Amemiya N1 side skirts that he sells are really close to the OEM ones. I believe that is one reason he hasn't made a copy of the OEMs.

...and that the OEMs are pricey to make a mold of, close to the same look as the RE's, and are 2-piece (4 total)

Erebuni makes an almost exact copy of the OEM side skirts. They are a two-piece kit, but how they fit I have no idea. The disadvantage of these is that they are made of fibreglass and not urethane like the OEM ones. I believe they are the erebuni style 29.

JT-imports can also get used OEM side skirts.

I think they look better on darker cars....the OEM ones just don't look right on the light colored cars.

Does anybody have any experience with the erebuni sideskirts? I'm really ready to buy them and wouldn't care about the type of material used. My only concern will be is the fitment.

AUM, where did you get the picture of the erebuni sideskirts? Are these directly from them?

Chuck from rotary extreme mentioned a long time ago that if there are 10 people interested he can probably make them for us.

A-squared I got the picture from a guy who was auctioning off the complete body kit on ebay a few months back. I was only interested in the side skirts and not the whole kit so I did not place a bid.

Esebueno I think if you contacted JT-imports about a used set you may be pleasantly surprised about the price.

I think someone that has bought some of the USED ones will chime in.... Lots of the used ones have sold, but only one of the new.
