Pushing, if there is any, is trivial with the speakers I chose. Clips and screws for the door panel lined up without issue and there isnt any noticeable vibration. Not all 6.5" speakers will fit, but I remember that being attributed to mounting depth more than interferance with the speaker grills.

Just for everyone's info I bought from car speaker adapters and still didn't have my adapter 2 months later so I had to call PayPal and get a refund. Not sure what to do with these pioneer speakers I got now.

Appreciate the update. I was literally talking to someone last night about ordering them. That sucks! I had planned to prep the car for some great fall drives with some shiny new speakers.

They provided no explanation at all?

Nothing at all, I've emailed 3 times, called about the same number of times. No response from email and the phone always goes to voicemail and the inbox is full so you can't even leave a message.

Sorry to hear that man. Just for kicks, I gave them a call. This is the number I used 412-260-6835. Left a message, and the guy called me back in an hour.

He said the item is in stock and would ship today. I use Pay Later on PayPal, so I said screw it and gave it a shot. They don't get the money until I get the item. I've already gotten a shipping notification.

I did mention to him, generally speaking, that "some people" on the forum had placed orders and had not received them. And asked if they had a period of backorders, or something. He wasn't defensive, but just said that it is possible the item got lost in transit and they weren't notified. For what it's worth.

Hope to have better luck. I will definitely report back.

Ok I just called again, inbox wasn't full so I left my name and number in a message. Got my fingers crossed for a call back. Regardless of anything though not getting a package within 2 months is pretty ridiculous and he should definitely be responding to emails.

Ordered them Monday. Got them today! Good luck, he did call me back in a few hours.

Not sure if you have any server-side spam filters setup, but I was missing some client emails for weeks (even though they had been originally going through) and suddenly stopped. My server was snagging them.

Hope it works out. What speakers did you get btw? Looking at some Alpines 6.5" that are pretty slim ~2.75".

Man wtf, I'm seriously pissed now. I left that message two days ago still no call. I don't understand what the deal is. I really need these adapters, otherwise my speakers will just go to waste. I'm thinking he might just select customers at random for scamming or something, I can't think of any other explanation.

Anyway I got these: TS-A1685R - NEW! - 6-1/2" 4-Way Speaker (6-3/4" Oversized Cone) | Pioneer of Canada - English
